Yeung Joo Han is from South Korea, and studied at Edinburgh College of Art in Scotland. She currently lives and works in Edinburgh. Her work is influenced by impressionist and expressionist artists. She expresses her feelings and joyful moment in the landscape with bold, warm and lively colours. The subject matter of her painting is the tranquility, the stillness, and the solitude in nature. These works are mainly done from travelling in Scotland.
